In 2021, when KPMG, the leading global audit, tax, and advisory firm relocated their HQ in the newly – developed MIRO Offices in Northern Bucharest, in a 6500 sq m space, COS provided its full capabilities in integrated design, architectural works, supply of standard and custom-made furniture, carpet, relocation services & installation. KPMG is one of the long-lasting customers of COS – ever since 1998.  

A Well – Balanced Work Environment 

Considering the challenging contemporary work business context, one of the clients main goals was to ensure its employees a comfortable workspace during sometimes long or tense hours at the office.  

Latest technology ergonomic work chairs from the leading global manufacturer Steelcase (COS` exclusive partner in Romania) were thus included in the project, both for the working areas and for the meeting rooms. 

A Vibrant Spectrum of Values 

As KPMG`s internal culture is based on a set of clear values, we chose to illustrate each of the values through bright colors, that also consisted in the main design element of the new space. Thus, Integrity was translated in Bleu, Excellent through ​​Green, Courage in Violet, Together in Blue, For good in Indigo color. 

In this project, colors played an important role not only in promoting the company’s values, but also in accentuating various interior areas: for example, the colored floor tiles signal meetings, informal areas in open space and work areas.

Nevertheless, the new KPMG office facilitates the active involvement of employees, offering them as support a functionally optimized space, several ways of working adapted to current conditions, as well as several informal, collaboration or relaxation areas, to foster their creative thinking.

For COS team, the project represented a recognition of its capabilities and a symbol of trust, since KPMG was client number 16 in COS business lifetime portfolio, collaborating with us ever since 1998.
