Bucharest-Ploiesti, having the sole registration code 10148013 (the "Company"), according to the provisions of Regulation 2016/679/EU on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter the "Regulation"), informs you of the following aspects:

In its capacity as data controller, the Company processes, with regard to you, the following categories of personal data:

Your personal data existing in the Curriculum Vitae or made available to us by you by other means (e.g. letter of intent, electronic communications, etc.), such as contact details, data related to the professional experience, demographic data, location data or other personal data that you decide to provide to us.

We collect this personal data directly from you: 

- as a result of the application on our website or via the ejobs, Best Jobs, Linkedin, Facebook platforms etc.,

- as a result of their transmission by e-mail to any of our email addresses, 

- during the interview and/or the recruitment process.

Also, if you have not applied for a position within COS, we may collect your personal data from public sources, such as those from professional profiles or CVs available online, if we have open positions and intend to contact you, in order to ask for your permission to present these positions to you.

1. The purposes for which the personal data are processed and the legal grounds:

We process your personal data only for the following legitimate purposes and based on the following legal grounds:

1.1 For the presentation of the job opportunities available within the Company, respectively the conduct of the interview and of the other stages of the recruitment process, according to your consent (art. 6 par. 1 let. a) of the Regulation);

1.2. To keep the Curriculum Vitae and the other personal data that we have collected during the recruitment process, for 12 months from the date of completion of the recruitment process, in order to contact you in the future for other positions similar to the one for that you applied for and/or other vacant positions within the Company (art. 6 par. 1 let. a) of the Regulation);

You can object to the processing based on the legitimate interest of COS at any time, for reasons related to your specific situation. For further details regarding your rights, please see section 4 below.

- To take the necessary steps for the conclusion of the individual employment contract with you, if you have been selected (art. 6 par. 1 let. b) of the Regulation). 

You can withdraw your consent for the processing of your data at any time. Withdrawal of your consent shall not affect the previously made data processing.

Also, to the extent to which you are selected and decide not to provide us with the personal data requested by us for the conclusion of the employment contract with you, we shall not be able to complete the recruitment process and we shall not be able to conclude the employment contract with you.

* in the event that it is be necessary to subsequently process your data for a purpose other than the one for which they were collected, before any processing, we shall provide you with information on the new purposes and any other relevant additional information.

 2. Beneficiaries of the processed data:

Your personal data are provided to the following categories of third parties:

- they are available to Ejobs, BestJobs and LinkedIn due to the fact that we use the recruitment platforms provided by these third parties, according to our legitimate interest to benefit from the services of these platforms.

We can also provide your data to:

- lawyers employed by us, insofar as it is necessary for the protection of our rights, according to our legitimate interest in this respect;

- to public authorities or law courts, to the extent to which we are required to provide them, as a result of the existence of a legal obligation or if it is in our legitimate interest to provide these data.

Your data are not transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

3. Storage duration:

Personal data are processed over the following periods:

- from the moment of their collection until the end of the recruitment process;

- for 12 months from the completion of the recruitment process, if you have given your consent in this respect.

Your data may not be used for other purposes or be subject to decisions based solely on automatic processing, profiling included, producing legal effects concerning the data subject or similarly affecting them to a significant extent.

 4 We inform you that you have the following rights:

- the right to have access to your data: you can request to be informed about the categories of personal data that are processed, the purpose for which the processing takes place, the recipients to whom they have been or shall be communicated, the period for which it is expected that they shall be stored and, if this is not possible, the criteria used to determine this period; the existence of an automated decision-making process, profiling included;

- the right to request the rectification of the data: in case there are errors related to your data being processed, you have the possibility to request the correction thereof; if the data is incomplete, you can request the supplementing thereof. The rectification shall be communicated to each recipient to whom the data were transmitted, unless this proves to be impossible or involves disproportionate efforts;

- the right to request the restriction of data processing: you have the right to request the restriction of data processing in the following situations: if you have challenged the accuracy of the data, for a period allowing us to verify the accuracy of the data; if the processing is illegal, and you object to the deletion of personal data, requesting in return the restriction of the use thereof; if the operator no longer needs the personal data for the purpose of processing, but you request them for the ascertainment, exercise or defense of a right in court; if you have objected to the processing for the period of time during which it is verified whether the legitimate rights of the controller prevail over your rights;

- the right to request the deletion of data: you can request the deletion of processed data, if the data are no longer necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected or processed, if you have withdrawn your consent and there is no other legal ground for processing; if you object to the processing and there are no legitimate reasons prevailing in terms of processing; the personal data have been illegally processed; the personal data must be deleted in order to comply with a legal obligation; the personal data were collected in connection with the supply of information society services;

-the right to request the transfer of data (for data portability): you can request the transfer of your data to another operator if the processing is based on your consent and the processing is automatic;

- right not to be subject to a decision exclusively based on automatic data processing. You shall not to be subject to a decision exclusively based on automatic data processing.

- the right to withdraw your consent to the consent-based processing of your data, without, however, affecting in any way the processing made prior to the withdrawal. 

- the right to object at any time to the processing based on the legitimate interest of the Company, for reasons related to your specific situation.
