Reckitt Benckiser is a global manufacturer and leader in home, health, and hygiene brands, focused on creating simple, innovative products that make it easier for individuals, families and communities to live healthier and happier.
The brief consisted in designing their space to express and be in line with Reckitt’s corporate culture. Therefore, the whole space is a manifestation: each private meeting room has a theme based on products the company delivers, each open booth has a symbolic color code associated with their purposes (green – sustainability, purple – nurturing future generations, blue – cleaner world, etc.). Our proposal also included a timeline of products placed on one of the main corridors, to create brand awareness.
Our intervention places great emphasis on offering various solutions for privacy and collaboration, but also for informal type collaboration areas. It is as desirable to work in open spaces, as it is necessary to retreat and find several degrees of privacy throughout the day, but also to bring closeness to their teams and help them gather to develop fresh ideas.
Enclosed spaces were placed around central major structural elements, leaving the areas near the façade sunk in natural light. This allowed employees working in the open space enjoy the beautiful views that the 11th and 12th floor offer. Sprinkled around the open space people will find colorful patches of carpet that mark open collaboration areas equipped with TV screens.
